Is this safe?
Yes. We don't store anything beyond what's needed to run the service, payments go through Stripe (we never see your card), and we never ask for your Instagram credentials. Your searches aren't shared with anyone, nothing is tracked for ads, and everything between your browser and our servers is encrypted.
Do I need to log into Instagram?
No, you do not need to log into Instagram to use Last Followed. Our tool works entirely independently of Instagram's login system. You enter the public username of the account you want to check, and our system retrieves their recent follower activity using publicly available data. This means there is no risk of your Instagram account being flagged, suspended, or compromised in any way. You do not need to provide any Instagram credentials, and we never interact with Instagram on your behalf. The entire process is completely anonymous — neither Instagram nor the person whose account you are searching will ever know you used our service.
Will they know I checked?
No, the person whose account you search will never know you checked their follower activity. Last Followed operates entirely anonymously. We do not send any follow requests, direct messages, profile views, or interactions of any kind to the account being searched. Our system accesses only publicly available follower data without leaving any trace on the account you searched. There are no notifications sent to the account owner, and Instagram does not log or report this type of data retrieval. Your identity is completely hidden throughout the entire process, from the initial search to any follow-up notifications you may set up.
Can I be notified when they follow someone?
Yes, Last Followed offers real-time notification alerts when new follower activity is detected on the accounts you are tracking. You can choose to receive notifications via SMS text message or email, depending on your preference. Once you set up tracking on a specific Instagram account, our system watches it for changes and sends you an alert as soon as new activity is found. This means you do not have to manually check back — you will be informed automatically. You can manage your notification preferences at any time through your account settings, including the ability to pause or stop notifications entirely.
Can I see private profiles?
No, Last Followed only works with public Instagram accounts. Instagram's privacy settings prevent external tools from accessing follower data on private profiles, and we respect these boundaries. If the account you want to track is set to private, our system will not be able to retrieve their follower activity. This is by design — we only access information that the account owner has chosen to make publicly available. If a previously public account switches to private, any active tracking will no longer return new results until the account is made public again. We recommend checking whether the account is public before starting a search.

Is this a subscription? How do I manage it?
The report unlock is a one-time payment — not a subscription, and nothing renews. If you set up tracking alerts, that part does renew, and you can manage it two ways: sign in and open account settings, or click Manage Account in the footer to open your Stripe customer portal. There you can view billing history, update your card, or cancel any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
